Operatives of the Federal Security Service (the FSB) of Russia are searching headquarters of IDGC of Center, a major electric distribution grid company providing electricity to 11 regions of Central Russia, Life.ru reports on Wednesday.
The company is a subsidiary of Rosseti power company.
At present, the FSB officers are working in IDGC’s account department and seizing all financial documentation. In addition, operatives are searching the offices of the company’s top managers.
According to IDGC’s employees, the company’s operation is almost paralyzed now.
The company’s press office says that the searches are linked to the “questions to a former director general of the company Dmitry Gudzhoyan related to tax payments.”
