On the 9th of August, Russian law enforcement officers arrived at the main headquarters of IKEA company in Moscow.
The searches are connected with a dispute over the land plot related to the events of years 1993, RIA Novosti reports.
The law enforcement officers raided an office located in a business center in the Moscow regional town of Khimki, at the address of Leningradskaya Street, 39.
According to the company’s lawyer, Semyon Shevchenko, the operation is being conducted in a well-disposed environment, IKEA’s employees provide assistance to the investigators.
This is not the first time, that IKEA’s headquarter has been searched by the police. In April 2016, law enforcement officers have already visited the company’s office, searching for evidences of a land fraud.
