More than a thousand jobs could be created in a new production and logistics center established by the online retailer Wildberries.
The facility is planned to be built in Koledino industrial park located in the Russian city of Podolsk, near Moscow, as it follows from a message published on the website of the Development Corporation of the Moscow region.
“As a result of the project’s implementation, more than a thousand residents of the Moscow region will be able to find a job close to their place of residence. This is a very significant contribution to the fight against a circular migration”, the message quotes the company’s Director General, Timur Andreev.
Investment in the project exceeds 3 billion rubles, making it one of the largest private initiatives for the implementation of which Wildberries proceeds in the current year.
