Construction activities at a site of Russia’s best crematorium will be launched in the city of Tyumen in 2018.
This is what the director general of LLC Tyumen Crematorium, Pavel Asharin, said in an interview with ng72.ru. According to him, the facility with a columbarium is planned to be built at the expense of investors on a plot of land with an area of 4 hectares.
The crematorium will appear in the village of Cherevishevsky. He specified that the land registration is already underway, as well as the building’s design.
The project will be implemented jointly with German businessmen.
As a reference, at present, there are four cemeteries in Tyumen, of which only one is operational. A service of cremation is available, but bodies of the deceased have to be transported to the city of Yekaterinburg.
