“I am not going to disclose our secrets but …”, with these words began Chairman of the Board of Skolkovo Foundation, Igor Drozdov, at 2018 IPQuorum forum held in the Russian city of Kaliningrad.
But still, Mr. Drozdov have disclosed one ambitious plan to participants of the forum devoted to intellectual property. The matter concerns a project envisaging the launch of unmanned vehicles on the territory of Skolkovo, which will deliver passengers from one place of the city to another. According to him, the launch of this transportation line is scheduled for autumn 2018. Drozdov specified that it would be not a test transportation line but a real one so that tenants of houses in Skolkovo village could use it.
As it turned out, in Skolkovo there is even a site for testing unmanned vehicles, with the center’s residents using it for testing different types of transport. In particular, an unmanned vehicle exploited in the extraction of minerals was tested there.
