A luxurious hotel with five conference rooms, that is operated by Marriott International, was put into operation in the Russian city of Voronezh.
According to the press office of the Voronezh region’s government, the hotel has 221 rooms and 101 apartments. In addition, the building has a large conference area of 1,000 square meters, divided into 5 halls.
The project has been implemented by Domostroitelny Kombinat. Speaking at the opening ceremony, the interim governor of the Voronezh region Alexander Gusev has noted a particular importance of the hotel for the city. According to him, the construction of the facility indicates a good investment and business climate in the region. Also, he promised that the authorities of the Voronezh region would help increase the hotel’s occupancy.
A representative of the Marriott International for Europe, Rainer Zachau, has also appeared at the event. He has said that the company intends to open 8 more hotels in Russia regarded as an important market.
