The construction of the Power of Siberia pipeline is estimated at 1.1 trillion rubles ($17,6 billion), the head of Gazprom construction department Andrey Vorobyev said in a conference call.
According to him, the development of Chayandinskoye field is estimated at 450 billion rubles ($7,2 billion), while the construction of Amur gas processing plant costs 950 billion rubles ($15 billion).
In May 2014, Gazprom and Chinese CNPC signed an agreement on the supply of Russian gas along the Eastern route. The contract that is concluded for 30 years provides for an annual supply of 38 billion cubic meters of gas to China via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline. Deliveries are scheduled to begin on December 20, 2019.
