The Crimean bridge across the Kerch Strait will be opened for traffic ahead of schedule, on May 16, 2018, the project’s press office told Construction.RU on Monday.
Road users will be able to take advantage of the new transport crossing since Wednesday morning. It is planned that local residents will be the first to test the Crimean bridge. For cars and passenger buses, the bridge will be opened from the two banks of the Kerch Strait. Movement on the bridge is permitted at a speed of 90 km/h and without stops.
From the Krasnodar region, one may get to the bridge via the federal highway A-290, while from the Crimea — via Simferopol - Kerch route.
