In 2018, the Chinese construction company China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) will receive components with a total value of 1.6 billion rubles ($26 million).
These components will be used in the construction of tunnels of the Big Circle Line of the Moscow metro, Interfax news agency reports on Thursday, with reference to Mospromzhelezobeton company, which will supply foreign partners with liner plates. With the use of these high-precision liner plates tunnels of the Third interchange of the metro will be built. The contract for the 2018 year is estimated at about 1.6 billion rubles.
The Chinese company began construction of a tunnel on the south-west section of the Big Circle Line this month. It should be noted that this is the first time that a foreign contractor has been involved in the construction of the Moscow metro.
