Russian Railways intend to involve a private investor in the implementation of a project for a large-scale reconstruction of Paveletsky railway station in Moscow.
As RBC news agency reported on Monday, shareholders of Transmashholding Andrei Bokarev and Viktor Vekselberg may become partners of the Russian Railways. All candidates have already prepared their reconstruction concepts for this large infrastructure facility.
At present, the project is at a preliminary stage. In particular, negotiations with investors are being currently conducted. Later, Russian Railways will prepare a technical design specification and hold a tender to select the project’s investor. Details of the tender are not disclosed at this time.
