Finnish construction concern YIT is developing digital housing services for managing and maintaining the property in Russia, Eurobuild reports.

One of the important steps in this direction was acquiring a stake in the Russian company Udobnye Resheniya. The company’s platform allows both residents and public utilities to access information about the apartment. The client can also communicate with the service provider using a mobile application.

As the representative of the company Teemu Helppolainen noted, in Russia, the company has over 46 thousand customers, with whom contracts for servicing apartments have been concluded. In the future, the Finnish concern plans to expand its client base in Russia.

“The acquisition of the platform company consistently implements the strategy of the Housing Russia segment in developing property management and maintenance service. I’m especially happy about our opportunity to develop the Living Services business into a genuinely digital service, which is a pioneer in its field in Russia,” Eurobuild quoted Helppolainen as saying.
