Moscow city authorities have announced a tender for the restoration of the Moscow Drama Theater named after A. Pushkin, the press office of the city construction department reported on Friday.
The winner of the tender will have to perform a survey within six months and develop a detailed concept for the restoration of the building. According to the tender documentation, it is necessary to preserve the historical appearance of the building and, at the same time, create comfortable conditions for the employees and visitors of the theater. In addition, the building must be equipped with modern engineering systems and theatrical equipment.
The facility is located at the address: Tverskoy Boulevard, 23. It represents a complex of brick buildings, united in a single operational space. These buildings were erected at different times and have a different number of floors. The report highlights that the theater building is a cultural heritage site of federal significance.
