The production of cement in Russian this February grew by 1.3 million tons to 3.5 million tons in comparison with the same period last year.
This is outlined in a report published today by the company "CM PRO". According to their data, the increase in the consumption of this material in the same period was 0.5%, for a total of 3.6 million tons. But the volume of cement exported from Russia in February decreased by 7.3% to 100 thousand tons, while imports decreased in February 2014 by 16.7% to 172 thousand tons.
Average selling prices (excluding VAT and delivery) in February, compared with January, rose by 0.5% to 2,769 thousand rubles per ton. The acquisition price (including VAT and delivery) declined by 4.7% to 3,783 thousand rubles per ton.
