In the construction of the Kerchensky Bridge, the first stage of work - the construction of a kilometer-long temporary bridge - has begun.
According to today's bulletin, construction materials will soon be delivered to the Crimean coast and engineering communications work will be started on. The temporary crossing will allow for the immediate organization of some building sites that will help to considerably reduce the period of construction. On the Tamansky coast, builders have already started hammering huge piles into the seabed. At the same time, sappers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations are checking the adjacent territory for mines which could have been left there from World War II. Archeologists are also looking for possible archaeological finds. According to the plan, construction of the temporary bridge must be finished by the end of summer.
