The Deputy Director General of State Enterprise for Belorussian NPS, Andrei Barkun, announced this at the opening of the 7th international forum “Atomexpo-Belarus 2015”. The Forum has been organized under the initiative of the Belarus Ministry of Energy with the support of “Rosatom”. The Russian operator is “Atomexpo”. We remind you that BelNPS, currently being constructed in the Grodno region, will consist of two nuclear power units with a gross installed capacity of up to 2400 megawatts. The new generation NPS Russian generic project “3+”, with improved technical and economic indices and conforming to all modern safety standards, was chosen for its construction.
