Four capital house-building plants have been reconstructed, and four more will be upgraded by the end of the year.
The mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, reported on this during a visit to the house-building plant ‘GC LSR’ outside Novokhokhlovskaya. As reported by our on-the-spot correspondent Yuri Kipin, the mayor said that from June 1st, new specifications will apply to the construction and reconstruction of houses in Moscow and benefits will accrue to developers. In particular, those who build according to the new standards will be given a ten percent discount on the rent of the land."We have for several years been working hard to ensure that Moscow’s prefabricated houses are built according to the standards of the new series, with the new requirements. Modern panels provide a wide variety of possibilities for the construction of quality housing. We are talking about lower thermal conductivity, noise conductivity, quality finishing, planning high-rise buildings, and ensuring work on the first floor of commercial buildings", said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
