The Moscow Urban Planning and Land Commission adopted projects to build two transport interchange hubs on the Volokolamskoye highway.
As Construction.ru was told by the press-service of Moscomstroyinvest, the first transport interchange hub will be built by state unitary enterprise “Moscow Metro” at Volokolamskaya station of the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line. Covered footbridges between the metro station and the transportation stop as well as the railway station Trickotazhnzya will be constructed. Different capital objects of 34.9 thousand square kilometers are planned to be built. The platform itself will be removed 1 km closer to the Metro. A hotel and trade premises with underground parking will also be constructed there.
Another transport interchange hub will be built on the Volokolamskoye highway at the Moscow Ring Rail Line. It will include stopping platforms of the existing rail line “Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo”. There will also be construction of an administrative-business centre with an area of 135,200 square meters.
