Our special correspondent Alexey Nevsky reports from the ground. Today, the regular international construction and interior exhibition Batimat opened in the Moscow exhibition centre Crocus Expo.
The main topics of the show include architecture, construction and interiors. Two large pavilions housed manufacturers of translucent structures, while producers of ceramic products were located in the third hall.
Despite the crisis in the construction industry of Russia, major window manufacturers, such as Rehau, Gealan etc, have been presented in the third pavilion.
To be sure, this year, large companies participating in the exhibition lashed out on rented space and displayed their products and novelties on a full scale. For example, on the first day of the exhibition, Rehau arranged a tour of its new products and conducted a master class with the participation of young architects and designers.
In another pavilion, the largest exhibition area was traditionally occupied by Kerama Marazzi company. The exhibition is scheduled to last until March 31.
