A building of famous Prague restaurant that is situated on the Arbat, a pedestrian street in the historical center of Moscow, is planned to be put up for auction.
The starting price of the lot is 2.2 billion rubles ($35 million), Vedomosti newspaper reported on Sunday referring to the building’s owner — the company Prague-AST, which was declared bankrupt last year. A total area of one of the oldest restaurants in the Russian capital city amounts to 9,900 square meters.
The date of the auction is not yet determined. Apart from the restaurant itself, the lot includes the rights to the land plot on the Arbat with an area of 0.3 hectares, as well as furniture and equipment.
