This is what the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development and Construction, Marat Khusnullin, told reporters on the 28th of March in the capital of Russia.
According to him, a year ago, when the sanctions were imposed on Russia, Western investors started showing notably less interest in Russian projects. At present, the foreigners have realized that, at the present currency exchange rate, real estate in Moscow has become twofold cheaper.
Moreover, it is a good time to buy and build something new in the city. At a major exhibition of international real estate in Cannes, it became clear that the market is revitalizing.
Representatives from a number of investment funds have announced that they are ready to come to Moscow and assess projects on the spot.
That is why the authorities of the capital of Russia are inviting investors to visit the Moscow Urban Forum, which will be held from the 30th of June to the 3rd of July. “We are planning to expand the investment sector and to present more projects”, said the Deputy Mayor.
