Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities has obliged heads of the regions of the Russian Federation to present up to five investment projects each in the housing and utilities sector until the end of the year, a Deputy Construction Minister, Andrey Chibis, announced on his Facebook account.
“The object in view is to prepare at least 5 investment projects from each region by the end of the year”, - says the message.
A Deputy Minister specified that now the state support of the utilities and housing concessions would be provided following the results of a tender, rather than by the regions’ applications, as it used to be before.
Andrey Chibis assessed that the utilities and housing sector requires approximately 500 bln roubles annually and these funds could be derived from the economy.
