The Ministry of Culture of Russia has allocated the first trunche intended for reconstruction of the Clock Tower, Olaf’s Tower and Town Tower located in the historical part of Vyborg, the press office of the Leningrad regional government told reporters on Wednesday.
According to the Ministry’s design and estimate documentation, the reconstruction work will be conducted at 12 objects. For its part, the regional government allocated 100 m roubles for restoration of 10 Vyborg’s monuments of regional significance.
The plan envisages restoration of roofing, facades, floors, ladders, as well as the territory will be improved. For this purpose, within the “Culture of Russia” program, the Ministry of Culture will allocate the first tranche in amount of 174,6 m roubles.
