As is clear from the EU’s official documents, the European Union plans to impose anti-dumping duties on cold-rolled mill products from Russia, Interfax reports on Thursday.

The least size of anti-dumping duty is established for Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Company – 18,7%. The duty for Severstal is 34%, for Novolipetsk Steel Company – 36,1%. For the rest companies the anti-dumping duty amounts to 36,1%.

Apart from that, import duties will be imposed on cold-rolled mill products from China and will vary from 19,7% to 22,1%.

Both for Russia and China, the duties will be imposed for a period of five years and will be applied retrospectively from the middle of September 2015.

According the Novolipetsk Steel Company’s representative, the European Commission made a biased inquiry with multiple violations.
