Vamed, an Austrian company, intend to take part in the creation of a medical cluster in Caucasian Spas, which is a cluster of mineral springs at Yessentuki, Zheleznovodsk, Kislovodsk and Pyatigorsk, the press office of the Ministry of North Caucasus Affairs of Russia told Construction.RU on Tuesday.

The first Deputy Minister for North Caucasus Affairs, Odes Baysultanov, held a meeting with Vamed top managers and discussed the possibility of the company’s participation in construction of the medical cluster’s facilities, as well as supplying them with needed equipment and personnel selection and training.

Apart from that, a possibility of the Austrian company’s participation in joint management of the medical cluster’s facilities after they are put into operation has also been considered.

“We are interested to involve foreign investors with an extended experience in health care and health tourism into the project’s implementation,” said Odes Baysultanov.
