Kiev economic court has partially sustained a claim of the “Ukrrosleasing” Russian company and obliged the Kiev underground to pay $28,5m for receiving 100 carriages for electric trains in leasing in 2009.

As the local press reports, the total sum figured in the claim was $127m. According to the contract, from 2010 to 2013, the “Kiev underground” received 100 carriages from the “Ukrrosleasing” company. 25 of them had been produced at “Kriukovsky coach building works” in Kremenchug, the Poltava region, Ukraine, and 75 - at the Russian “Vagonmash” and “Metrovagonmash”. However the sum of the leasing payments from 2009 to 2014 was not paid out in full volume. In the beginning of May the carriages were attached, but by the end of the month the decision was cancelled. Now the Kiev underground want to appeal against the decision to the Appeal Tribunal.
