On the 29th of September, NJ Transit train crashed into the station in Hoboken, as a result of the accident, three people died and about a hundred were injured, NBC New York reports on Thursday.
The crash is reported to happen at 8:45 a.m. on the Pascack Valley Line from Spring Valley. The cause of the accident is still unclear, but investigators voiced two versions - an accidental crash and the one caused by operator error.
The train was seriously damaged, as well as the station was affected. At least one of the NJ Transit cars were partially inside the building.
Eyewitnesses told the newspaper that the train seemed to be moving faster than usual as it entered the station.
