238 billion roubles will be allocated to construction of the second phase of Cosmodrome Vostochny, Russian Vice Prime Minister, Dmitry Rogozin, told reporters on the 24th of October.
According to Dmitry Rogozin, financing of the second phase of the object’s construction was discussed at a meeting with the head of the government, Dmitry Medvedev.
“Despite the questions we have regarding budget formation for the years 2017 – 2019, the solution allowing to fully execute the piece of work is found,” said Rogozin.
The Vice Prime Minister pointed out that a so-called “rational minimum”, provided by the Russian Federal Space Agency would be implemented.
It’s noteworthy that construction of Cosmodrome Vostochny in the Amur river region in Russia came with scandals connected with revealed cases of funds embezzlements, as well as mass strikes of workers sparked by backdated wages.
