Joint Russian-Turkish enterprise to be set up in Tatarstan’s SEZ

The head of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, and Governor of the Chelyabinsk region, Alexander Dubrovsky, will launch the construction of a steel service center in “Alabuga” special economic zone.


As Construction.RU was told by the press office of the regional administration on Monday, this will be a joint enterprise of the Turkish company Coskunoz and Magnitogorsk metallurgical combine, on the part of Russia.

The new plant will produce steel workpieces for the automotive industry.

Also, a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the SEZ “Alabuga” are planned to be held today. The meeting’s participants are going to consider new investment projects “SMC Alabuga” and GIS “Nefteservis”.
