Today, a new hypermarket of construction materials under the brand of Leroy Merlin has been officially put in operation in the Volzhsky district of the Russian city of Saratov.
The region’s Governor, Valery Radayev, the city’s Mayor, Valery Sarayev, as well as the ministers from the regional government took part in an official opening ceremony, the press office of the city administration told Construction.RU on Tuesday.
The new hypermarket provides new opportunities for domestic and local manufacturers: approximately 95% of the supplied commodities are produced in Russia and in the Saratov region.
A total amount of investments in the project is 1,1 billion rubles ($18 million). Next year, construction of the second such store in the region is scheduled.
