StandartCement company intends to build a cement factory in the Belgorod region, Russia, with a capacity of 3 million tons per year, Interfax news agency reports on Tuesday.
“Investment cost of the project approximately totals 39 billion rubles. At present, FLSmidth, a Danish company that will supply equipment for the cement factory is conducting engineering activities,” the representative of StandartCement told the agency.
He specified that the new enterprise would be situated in the Krasnogvardeisk district of the Belgorod region. The local authorities have already allotted a plot of land for the factory’s construction site.
Over 700 jobs are expected to be created at the enterprise.
Sources of financing have not been revealed yet, nor the construction period is determined.
