British Petroleum (BP), a British oil and gas company headquartered in London, is interested to set up joint enterprises with Rosneft, a Russian oil giant, both in Russia and in other countries.
This is what David Campbell, BP's Russia chief, told TASS news agency’s correspondent on Friday on the sidelines of a press conference dedicated to Year of British Science and Education in Russia.
“We are interested in establishing joint enterprises both in Russia and beyond its borders,” David Campbell said.
According to him, the British company is satisfied with a progress achieved at the operating joint enterprises of the two companies. At the same times, Campbell declined to specify possible areas of cooperation, which are being currently negotiated.
