Vice President of Tetra Pak for South Asia, Eastern Asia and Oceania, Michael Zaka, noted that the demand for packaging products in the region would increase by 30% by the year 2018, compared to the year 2015.
“Before arriving here, we thoroughly assessed all options and finally settled upon Rayong (the Thai province),” Michael Zaka said. He added that the plant’s location would allow to provide services for South and Asia, as well as Oceania.
“The new plant will provide a number of advantages for our clients, including continuous supplies, reduction of the spent time, quality enhancement, efficiency and flexibility,” Michael Zaka stressed.
As a reference, Tetra Pak is a food packaging and processing company, headquartered in Sweden and Switzerland.
