Bulgaria, an Italian jewelry manufacturer, has opened Europe's largest factory for the production of jewelry in the Italian region of Piedmont, the company’s press release says.

About 400 employees work at a production area of 15 thousand square meters, and by 2020, it is planned to increase the capacity up to 700 people. In addition, a jewelry school has been opened at the factory for more than 40 students: 21 people are studying there currently.

The complex is located in the municipality of Valenza, which has been traditionally considered to be the center of Italian jewelry industry. The company emphasizes that the new production buildings were built in compliance with high standards of sustainability and energy efficiency.

It is expected that the new factory will produce jewelry for the most famous Bulgari collections, including B. zero1, Serpenti, Diva, BVLGARI-BVLGARI and Parentesi lines.
