The Government of the Russian Federation approved a new version of the state program titled “The Development of Transport System”, the Cabinet’s official website reports on Monday.
The signed decree specified performance targets (indicators) of the state program, describing its objectives, tasks and implementation of major events.
“Also, a priority project “Safe and High-Quality Roads” is integrated in the program,” the document reads.
The project’s passport was approved following a session of the Presidium of the Presidential Council for strategic development and priority projects held on the 21st of November, 2016.
Apart from that, according to a new variant of the program, its funding is aligned with the federal budget for 2017 and the planning period of 2018 and 2019.
