Globus hypermarket owned by German food retailer, Globus Group, is scheduled to be put in operation in the third quarter of 2018 on the right-bank side of the Russian city of Kaluga.

As Construction.RU was told by the regional press office, the activities at this crucial construction site are planned to be launched as early as on June 1. Investments in the project will reach 4,5 billion rubles ($79 million).

When the facility is put in operation, it will represent an absolutely new trade format with in-house production of meat and fish goods, as well as confectionery.

We should remind you that Russia’s first Globus hypermarket was opened in 2006 in the Shchelkovo town located in the Moscow region.
