Destia company was chosen the first Finnish contractor for the construction of NPP “Hanhikivi-1” in partnership with Russia in Finland.
The press office of the Russian company “Titan-2,” being the main sub-contractor of the project, told Construction.ru about it. As for Destia, it is to carry out all preparatory work at the construction site: rooting out trunks, removal of fertile browning, territory planning, and laying the service road.
To remind you, the Russian WWER-1200 type reactor of the project NPP-2006 will work at NPP “Hanhikivi-1”. It will begin producing energy in 2024. The nuclear power plant will be located on the Hanhikivi cape in Puhyaioki district. International department of the corporation “Rosatom”, “Rusatom Overseas”, has a share of 34% in the project. Nuclear energy objects construction is one of the industry specifications of the Russian holding “Titan-2.”
