From June 6 through 9 Pavilion No.2 (Halls 1, 2, 3) of Expocentre Fairgrounds hosts a major glass industry event – the 18th International Exhibition for Glass Products, Manufacturing, Processing and Finished Technology Mir Stekla 2016. The trade show is organized by Expocentre and StekloSouz United National Council of the glass industry enterprises. The show is supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and runs under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mir Stekla is the largest international trade show in Eastern Europe, the CIS and Russia. Its relevance and importance for the development of the Russian and global markets of glass products are confirmed by the logos of UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, and RUEF, the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs.
The trade show is a unique platform to showcase the latest accomplishments in the Russian and global glass industries thus facilitating beneficial cooperation between Russian and foreign companies and developing investment potential of the Russian construction industry.
This year the world leading manufacturers of glass products will put on display the latest production and processing technology, machinery, tools and auxiliary equipment, art and decorative glass, stained glass, test and regulating equipment, software and R&D.
The ArtGlass salon will demonstrate diverse and unusual properties of glass. The salon participants will implement the most unexpected and creative ideas for interior decoration.
Mir Stekla brings together the best glass manufacturers from industrialized countries and all creative people working in the glass industry.
About 200 companies and enterprises from Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, the UK, Ukraine, and the USA plan to take part in Mir Stekla.
Mir Stekla is a great platform for networking and effective cooperation between glass manufacturers, investors, architects, designers, and constructors. A comprehensive event program features the most relevant topics related to the industry development.
The key event of the accompanying program is the International Forum on Glass and Modern Technology – the 21st Century organized by StekloSouz United National Council of the glass industry enterprises and Expocentre.
The Forum participants will discuss problems and results of the glass industry under the current conditions, get up-to-date information on the latest technology, and make decisions on implementation of plans including consolidation of producers and consumers.
CEOs and glass industry experts, representatives of R&D institutes and engineering companies, and independent experts will make their speeches and touch on all aspects and trends in the glass industry, e.g.
