The RF Minister of Transportation, Maxim Sokolov, has said that the Moscow-Kazan HSN construction is likely to begin in 2017.
As Maxim Sokolov announced at the Tatartstan Ministry of Transport panel, this depends on the successful completion of the design work and negotiation process before the end of 2016.
To remind you, the HSN, costing 1.068 trn rubles, will connect Moscow and Kazan via 7 RF regions, reducing travel time to 3.5 hours.
According to the Minister, this year an agreement with the Chinese partners taking part in the project may be signed.
