4 bln roubles will fund the construction of the “Lenfilm Park” cinema city, which will occupy 10 hectares in the Pushkin district in Saint Petersburg.
The corresponding agreement was signed yesterday by the film studio and the “VTB Development” company, as Construction.ru was told by the company’s press office.
The facility will unite film production and warehouse facilities, pavilions, film sets and an entertainment area.
“Lenfilm Park”, with its mocked-up streets, stylized for different epochs and architectural styles, its attractions and tourist shops, will become a part of the huge business cluster between “Pulkovo” and the “Expoforum” exhibition center.
It will be located in a social and business area of Yugtaun Square. The creation and implementation of all work at the construction site within the course of 3-4 years has been proposed. As currently envisioned, over 1m people a year will visit it.
