As it became known on Friday, the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has initiated a new case against the deputy head of the Federal Accreditation Service, Nazim Sultanov.

Mr Sultanov is accused of grand machinations and fraud related to the issuance of licenses to business entities, the MIA press office told Construction.ru. This includes licensing of building companies and enterprises producing construction materials.

It should be mentioned that, earlier, another criminal case on a count of impeding entrepreneurial activity was initiated against him.

According to the investigators, from December 2012 to March 2013, Sultanov, together with his accomplices, deliberately maladjusted the system of the Single Conformity Certificates Register.

The perpetrators prevented the companies engaged in certification from submitting a report on the usage of a special form for technical guideline compliance. This paralyzed the entrepreneurs’ activity.
