Three more arrested in real estate tycoon Sergei Polonsky criminal case

Within the framework of the criminal case for embezzlement from residential community interest holders, three more former top managers of Sergei Polonsky’s Mirax Group have been arrested in absentia and put on the wanted list.




The Tverskoy district court of Moscow sanctioned the arrest of the first deputy president of Mirax Group, Dmitry Lutsenko, the president of the Board of Directors, Maxim Temnikov, and a member of the Council of Directors, Alexei Adikaev, Kommersant newspaper reported on Wednesday.

All three accused have already absconded abroad and have now been put on the wanted list. They are charged with the same crimes as Sergei Polonsky.

The Interior Ministry’s Investigative Department has also brought an indictment against the suspects of fraud on an especially large scale and involving a group of people. Their apartments have been searched.

Sergei Polonsky from Mirax Group has been charged with fraud. According to the investigation, he illegally appropriated 2.4 bln roubles from interest-holders during the construction of the Kutuzovskaya Mile residential community. At present, Mr Polonsky is facing 10 years of imprisonment.
