Some days ago, the Association of Window and Door Furniture Retailers and Manufacturers celebrated their 10th anniversary in Russia.
As the Association’s press office told Construction.ru, within the official event, arranged to coincide with the anniversary, the industry’s experts touched upon the current issues of the window furniture market’s development and discussed key areas of the Association’s activity.
Over several years, the market has been developing dynamically: 10 years ago, 5 – 7 manufacturers of window and door furniture, mainly from Germany and Austria, were operating in Russia. Today, dozens of producers from different countries – Poland, Ukraine, Turkey, China and Russia – are on the market.
With the purpose of creating and developing a civilized furniture market, in 2006 the leading actors in this market segment united to form the Association of Window and Door Furniture Retailers and Manufacturers.
One of its missions is the creation of a positive competitive environment on the market (the Association’s members account for more than 80% of the window and door furniture market) on condition that Russian legislation is complied with by all participants.
The members of the Association of Window and Door Furniture Retailers and Manufacturers import products only by means of direct suppliers without intermediaries, fully complying with Russian law.
