Inteco Beteiligungs, a company owned by Elena Baturina, an entrepreneur and a wife of ex-Mayor of Moscow Yury Luzhkov, closed a deal in October on purchase of another solar batteries’ park in Greece, the company’s press office told reporters on Monday.
According to the previously announced plans, a total amount of investments of Baturina’s entiites in the project, which will be implemented in the area of the Greek city of Farsala, might reach 20 million euro in the coming year. The company’s representatives evaluate return on the acquired park at 500,000 euro annually.
Experts point out that a consumption of energy generated by this relatively small solar park in Farsala will let to avoid 800 tons of carbon dioxide emission in the atmosphere.
