Russian Parliament voted in favor of ratification of an agreement with Kirgizia on cooperation in the field of oil and petrol deliveries, which stipulates duty-free supplies of Russian resources to Kirgizia.

According to the document, Russia will not levy export customs duties as regards to oil and petrol supplied for the domestic usage in Kirgizia. Before the beginning of each calendar year, the relevant authorities of both parties will harmonize volumes and stock lists of internal consumption of oil and petrol in Kirgizia for the next year.

The agreement also bans re-export of oil and petrol, what can lead to suspension of the document. Prohibition to re-export also extends to the products originated in Russia, but exported from the member countries of the European Union.
