Albanwise Ltd, a British investment company, bought a village in the British County of North Yorkshire, which was put up for sale for £20 million, ITV channel reports.
West Heslerton village was put up for sale about a year ago. Its territory spanning over 850 hectares inludes a mansion with 21 rooms, 43 homes, a pub, a pavilion for sports and playgrounds. The exact sum of transaction has not been revealed, however, the TV channel emphasizes that the price of the settlement amounted to £20 million.
Albanwise announced on Wednesday that it had purchased West Heslerton Estate near Scarborough in North Yorkshire.
Previously, the village belonged to Eve Dawnay, who inherited the estate in 1960s. Seven years ago, the woman died without leaving an heir.
