The Moscow authorities have approved a concept for the development of the territory of a former Missile Forces Military Academy n.a. Peter the Great located in central Moscow, chief architect of Russian capital city Sergei Kuznetsov told reporters on Wednesday.
“The Academy’s area should be linked to Zaryadye Park through Kitaigorodsky proezd, and a park, as well as a new pedestrian boulevard could be developed next to the Academy,” Mr. Kuznetsov said.
According to him, the main function of the Academy’s buildings will be a hotel service.
“In addition, some of the buildings may house a museum. A restaurant or food court are likely to emerge there”, the chief architect added.
