The Moscow authorities plan to build 10 million square meters of real estate on a plot of land adjacent to The Moscow Ring Road, RBC news agency reports on Friday.
This statement was made by the head of the Department of New Territories Development Vladimir Zhidkin. The matter concerns tens of thousands of hectares of land both on the inner and outer side of The Moscow Ring Road along its entire route.
RBC notes that half of the development account for residential buildings. Also, offices, industrial and other facilities are planned to be built.
According to Zhidkin, the height of the buildings will range between 12 and 25 floors. There is no pint in constructing low-rise houses near The Moscow Ring Road, he stressed.
