As Construction.RU learnt from the press-office of the Russian General Board of State Expert Review, it has adopted the project of the first stage of the construction of a new junction from the M-7 Volga highway to the MRR. This is part of the Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod-Kazan express-road, the press-office reports.




The design project of the first stage includes the preparation of the construction of a toll section of the express road round the towns of Balashikha and Noginsk. It will become the M-7 Volga backup highway from the MRR to the A-108 highway (Moscow outer ring). It is planned to be 6 lanes wide, the maximum legal speed being 150 km per hour.

The project is being implemented within the Federal Target Program – “The Development of the transport system of Russia in 2010-2020”. The construction project owner is Avtodor GC.
