Over the course of three years, it is planned to build 199 social facilities worth 55.7 billion rubles ($956 million) in the Russian Far East, according to RF Presidential Envoy in the Far Eastern District, Yuri Trutnev, Interfax reports.
This statement was made by Mr. Trutnev on Monday at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. “Now we are starting to create living conditions in the centers of economic growth. There are a lot of such centers — 44”, he said.
According to him, 5,600 people will work in the city of Svobodny in the Amur region at a gas processing and gas chemical plant, 7,000 jobs are located in the village of Bolshoy Kamen, while almost 1,500 jobs are created within the RusAgro project in Primorye.
