Nike Box Msk cultural and sports center, which is located in Moscow’s Gorky Park, has been put into operation, RIA Novosti news agency reported on Friday.
When designing the facility, the task was to create a comfortable and functional space, as well as to ensure that the building was in harmony with the park’s image. So, the choice fell on a “super-box” concept proposed during a contest. According to this design, the central place in the facility is occupied by a pavilion, which is associated with an open box. Such events as exhibitions and master classes are planned to be held there.
The center will also house football and basketball grounds, as well as a base for a running club and functional training zone.
